How much deposit do I need?

50% up front so Team KO can hit the ground running!

How much do you charge?

This is project specific, so it’s tricky to provide a set fee without understanding your brief. We offer a wide range of creative services, so please reach out and tell us what you need, we will send you a quote pronto!

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, absolutely! Depending on the scope of work we can break up the project payments into 3 instalments, to help keep your cash-flow flowing.

I’m not really sure what my business needs, can you help?

We sure can! We’re all about delivering creativity that connects, and we’ll only suggest solutions that empower you to stand courageously and speak confidently to your customers.

How long will it take?

This really depends on how busy we are in the KO studio and how efficiently you can provide us feedback. As a guide, usually between 2-6 weeks is enough time. But we provide a schedule for each project before we get started, so everyone’s on the same page.

My business is interstate or international.

We like to call ourselves ‘Citizens of the Planet’ so no matter where you’re located, we can help! There are plenty of online ways for us to connect. Our studio is available to you no matter how far away (geographically) you might be. So, let’s work together!

What type of creative work do you do?

How does the creative process flow?

  • We send you a project scope + services agreement for you to sign and return to us
  • You pay your deposit
  • We nut out the brief together by talking about your key objectives, identifying your target audience, and the best way to approach it
  • We start the design concepts
  • We present our design concepts and work with you to nail the brief
  • Once the final concept is approved, we create and collate all files you need
  • Final payment is then due
  • All of your files will be supplied to you via email in a downloadable link
  • You’re ready to launch!

What if I change my mind?

We understand that sometimes this can happen… If the direction is fairly similar to what we’ve already developed, we’re happy to make a few tweaks. However, if you decide on a completely new direction, we will need to charge for the additional time spent on developing that new concept.

How do you charge for extra time?

We charge our hourly rate of $130 +GST. But we will provide an estimate for the additional time required, so you are aware of any additional costs in advance.

Will I have IP (copyright) on my designs?

On project completion, yes. Prior to that, no. All of the design concepts are rightfully owned and copyrighted by KO Studio until the final payment has been made. Once the full payment is made, the IP will be transferred to you.
